I want this girl to come out with an album RIGHT NOW. freaking love her voice.

somehow my laptop got infected with a trojan so i had to transfer all of my music to my old laptop (that is 383762 years old and SO FUCKING SLOW), re-install windows and all of my shit, then transfer my music back to it. i am making this public in hopes that my super awesome wonderful boyfriend will read this and get the hint that i totally need an external hard drive for christmas. yup.

i don't generally comment on celebrity stuff because while i read a lot of the blogs [i'm sorry, i'm addicted to perez hilton], i read it and i move on. but all this stuff going on with heath ledger is very sad to me. i wasn't a fan of his, really, and i'm not saddened by HIS actual death, but jesus christ media, LEAVE HIS FAMILY ALONE. he has a 2 year old daughter and an ex who has to explain to her that her daddy isn't here anymore. that isn't easy for anyone to swallow. it doesn't matter if he WAS addicted to drugs and it was an overdose, or if he died from natural causes or what. his daughter will grow up one day and all she's going to hear is about how her dad was a drug addict while her family tries to explain that he loved her more than anything else in the world. have you ever known someone who was an addict? it's a scary, scary thing. it doesn't matter if it's drugs or alcohol or gambling or what. addiction isn't pretty, and it isn't always something people CHOOSE. so jesus christ, leave the family alone and put your speculations to rest. all i can think about is the poor kid and michelle williams, and how she's going to have paparazzi following her for months to come.
